BioLegend Flow Cytometry Kits To Identify Treg Populations

Single or dual markers cannot be used to identify a particular Treg population by flow cytometry. Instead, marker sets can be used to define various cell surface proteins. CD4, CD25 and other cell surface markers, in combination with transcription factor FOXP3 can aid characterization of Treg populations.

BioLegend's FOXP3 Flow Kits are designed for flow cytometric analysis of human, or mouse FOXP3+ Treg cells in a mixed lymphocyte population. These easy-to-use kits are composed of fluorescently conjugated anti-human or anti- mouse FOXP3 antibody, a fluorescently conjugated matching isotype and control essential buffers. PE, Alexa Fluor® 488 and Alexa Fluor® 647 conjugates are available.

BioLegend's One-Step Treg Flow Kits contain flurochrome-conjugated anti-human or anti-mouse CD4, CD25 and FOXP3 antibodies and all the critical buffers needed. These kits enable one-step staining of both surface and intracellular antigens of human or mouse Treg cells.

Isotype controls are utilised in order to ascertain to what extent an antibody is non specifically binding  to Ig in your sample. When choosing an isotype control the Ab should ideally be the same species, concentration, conjugation and isotype as the conjugated Ab utilised for your studies.
