Product Category: Stem Cell Research
A New Source for Stem CellsWe now offer a diverse range of human and mouse stem and progenitor cells for research use. Our new suppliers, DV Biologics and Primogenix, have considerable experience in the isolation of human and mouse stem cells, respectively from a variety of human tissues or mouse strains, enabling you to access stem cells for your research in a convenient format. Human cell types available now include primary cells from Disease Tissue , Hematopoietic Stem Cells, Multipotent Cord Blood Stem Cells and several types of Mesenchymal Stem Cell. We also have available high quality pluripotent mouse ES cell lines from a variety of strains, including B6, 129 and BALB/c, as well as other inbred, transgenic and knockout strains. CD326 (EpCAM)- Antibodies from BioLegendCD326 (EpCAM) is a epithelial adhesion molecule marker. CD326 expression levels are higher in all undifferentiated human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) than in neural cell derivatives, indicating that it may be useful as a novel marker of undifferentiated hESCs. The 9C4 antibody against the CD326 antigen has been shown to be useful for flow cytometry. BioLegend offers a wide selection of purified anti-human CD326 antibodies and fluoscently labelled conjugates. Click here to learn more.
iPS Factor Constructs From SBIInduced pluripotent stem cells can be generated from somatic cells by the transfection of six transcription factors, namely Oct3/4, Sox2, c-Myc, and Klf4, Nanog and Lin-28. iPS cells are indistinguishable from ES cells in morphology, proliferation gene expression and teratoma formation. System Biosciences have developed a lentiviral-based protein expression system that can used to reliably deliver these factors to dividing or non-dividing cells. Expressing cells can be monitored or sorted with RFP which is co-expressed. Each of the constructs is available as either plasmid lentivectors or pre-packaged lentivirus StemTAG Alkaline Phosphatase AssaysEmbryonic stem (ES) cells are continuously proliferating stem cells of embryonic origin. Two distinguishing features of ES cells are their ability to be maintained indefinitely in an undifferentiated state and their potential to develop into any cell within the body. ES cells have been shown to express high levels of membrane alkaline phosphatase (AP). Although stem cells from different origins require different growth conditions for self-renewal and display different cell surface markers, AP is the most widely used stem cell marker. The StemTAG™ Alkaline Phosphatase Complete Kit provides an efficient system for monitoring ES cell undifferentiation/ differentiation through alkaline phosphatase activity by both immunocytochemistry staining and a quantitative activity assay. |
