News: HELIOS- A Novel Marker for Thymically Derived Treg Cells

Helios is a transcription factor belonging to the Ikaros family of Zinc-finger proteins. While its mechanism of action is still poorly understood, Ikaros family members are believed to regulate transcription of chromatin remodelling. Helios may be a critical marker for distinguishing thymic "natural" Tregs from induced peripheral Tregs.
