Product Description:
A biflavonoid with diverse biological activities; inhibits PTP1B (IC50 = 4.5 µM) and stimulates glucose uptake in 3T3-L1 cells at 5 and 10 µM; inhibits CYP3A4, CYP2C9, and CYP1A2 (Kis = 0.038, 0.32, and 0.95 µM, respectively); reverses kainiate and NMDA-induced cell death in isolated rat embryonic hippocampal neurons at 10 µM; decreases carrageenan-induced paw edema and protects against indomethacin-induced gastric lesions in rats at 8 mg/kg
