A deoxybenzoin with diverse biological activities; an inhibitor of TRPM3 (IC50 = 0.3 µM); scavenges DPPH, ABTS, and superoxide anion radicals in cell-free assays (IC50s = 57.4, 62.64, and 35.19 µM, respectively); inhibits mushroom tyrosinase (IC50 = 78.88 µM after 30 minutes); reverses complete Freund’s adjuvant-induced heat hypersensitivity in mice at 10 mg/kg
