Product Description:
An imidazopyridine amide antibiotic; active against M. tuberculosis and M. ulcerans (MIC50s = 2.7 and 0.86 nM, respectively); binds to the oxidation site on mitochondrial complex III and disrupts ATP synthesis in M. tuberculosis (IC50 = 1.1 nM); reduces bacterial load, as well as the number of lung CFUs and granulomatous foci in a mouse model of M. tuberculosis infection at 10 mg/kg for three days
