Product Description:
An aurone with diverse biological activities; is an inhibitor of tyrosinase, MAO-A, and MAO-B (IC50s = 38.4, 0.26, and 2.45 µM); increases catalase and SOD activity in cell-free assays, as well as decreases intracellular ROS in, and increases the lifespan of, C. elegans at 50 µM; decreases immobility time in forced swim and tail suspension tests in mice at 2, 5, and 15 mg/kg
