Frozen human plasma produced from 400 ml fresh whole blood collected in a blood bag containing CPD anticoagulant. The plasma is produced by centrifugation of 400 ml fresh whole blood and separation into a dedicated sample bag by means of an automatic blood component separator. Total final volume is typically 200 ml. Blood comes from a healthy donor aged between 18-60. Donors are screened and tested negative for HIV, Hepatitis B & C. The plasma has been stored at -80°C and is shipped on dry ice.
