An esterified form of linoleic acid; active against S. mutans, A. actinomycetemcomitans, P. gingivalis, S. gordonii, and S. sanguis, and C. albicans at 25 µg/ml; prevents arteriosclerosis in rabbits fed a high-cholesterol diet at 3 mg/kg
