Product Description:
Evans Blue is a potent inhibitor of L-glutamate uptake via the membrane-bound excitatory amino acid transporter (EAAT). It can antagonize the current mediated by AMPA kainate receptors (IC50 values are 220 and 150 nM respectively), and binds to serum albumin with high affinity.
