A CB2 receptor antagonist (Ki = 0.6 nM); selective for CB2 over CB1 receptors in CHO cells expressing human receptors (Ki = 437 nM); reverses CP 55,940-induced inhibition of forskolin-induced adenylyl cyclase activity in CHO cells expressing human CB2 receptors (EC50 = 10 nM); reduces paw swelling in a mouse model of carrageenin-induced paw edema at 0.01 mg/kg
