ZymoBIOMICS Fecal Reference with TruMatrix™ Technology

The ZymoBIOMICS Fecal Reference with TruMatrix™ Technology is a microbial reference material made from the stool of healthy donors, intended for quality control, process validation, assay development, and proficiency testing. The reference material was homogenised in a single large batch to ensure uniformity in every vial, eliminating common lot-to-lot variability. With over 2 million preps available, this reference is designed to serve as a control for workflow performance and to compare workflow consistency across replicates, studies, and laboratories.

The product is intended to be processed in your microbiome workflow as a positive control and as an individual sample in parallel to actual samples. The metagenomic and metatranscriptomic (Figure 2) profiles of this product have been deeply sequenced and thoroughly characterised.
