Azido-PEG1-CH2CO2H is a PROTAC linker, which refers to the alkyl/ether composition. Azido-PEG1-CH2CO2H can be used in the synthesis of PROTAC BRD4 Degrader-1[1]. Azido-PEG1-CH2CO2H is a click chemistry reagent, itcontains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. Strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) can also occur with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
