BZAR (Rhodamine 110, bis-(N-CBZ-L-arginine amide), dihydrochloride) is a substrate for serine proteases and is also an inhibitor for quanidinobenzoatase. It is 50 to 100 times more sensitive than the AMC-based substrate.
