An arginase inhibitor (IC50s = 0.086 and 0.296 µM for human arginase I and II, respectively); selective for arginase I and II over nNOS, eNOS, and iNOS (IC50s = >50 µM for all); reverses granulocyte-induced inhibition of T cell proliferation in vitro (IC50 = 0.204 µM); reduces tumor growth in a CT26 murine colon cancer model at 100 mg/kg twice per day
