Product Description:
A cholesterol 24-hydroxylase/CYP46A1 inhibitor (IC50 = 0.0074 µM); selective for cholesterol 24-hydroxylase over CYP2C8, -2C9, -2D6, -3A4, -1A2, and 2C19 (IC50s = 62, 19, >100, 66, >100, and 14 µM, respectively); reduces seizure frequency and severity and improves survival in a model of Dravet syndrome induced by hyperthermia in Scn1a+/- mice at 0.02% in the diet
